Community Support Specialist ERE
Job Summary
Full-time benefit eligible position. 40 hours weekly.

- Assisting individuals in accessing mental health medical financial and housing services
- Providing direct support for essential needs like food shelter and clothing during times of crisis
- Coaching and training in independent living skills such as budgeting transportation and self-care
- Helping individuals navigate community resources for long-term support and stability
- Following up on appointments and assisting with forms documentation and applications
- Providing transportation when needed to support access to care and services
Associates or bachelors degree in a human service related field preferred
QUALIFICATION(S): WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Must qualify for position based on overall CSS requirements in at least one of the options
listed:
o Qualified addiction professional;
o Bachelors degree in a human services field from a college or university included in the U.S.
Department of Educations database of accredited schools at http:/ Any four-year degree or combination of higher education and qualifying experience;
o Four years of qualifying experience; or
o Associate of Applied Science in Behavioral Health Support degree as designated by the Department of Mental Health.
Qualifying experience must include delivery of service to individuals with mental illness
substance use disorders or developmental disabilities.
A valid drivers license and agency established minimum automobile coverage required
