Job Summary
EDUCATION EXCELLENCE SINCE 1852Auburn Union School District serves the foothill community of Auburn located 40 miles northeast of Sacramento on the western slope of the California High Sierra. AUSD educates approximately 1500 students in preschool through eighth grade at three TK-8 schools (Auburn Elementary Skyridge Elementary and E.V. Cain School) At our schools we stand together to place each child at the heart of every decision. All students will be challenged engaged and obtain college and career readiness skills for a globally connected society.
Monday through Friday 07:30 am - 04:00 pm Located at EVCain SchoolUnder the direction of the Principal serve as a liaison between district personnel students parents public agencies community agencies and groups; perform a variety of tasks to assist all students and their families (including non-english speaking families) in accessing school and community services and improve home/school communication; refer families to local agencies or school services as appropriate; prepare and maintain related records and reports.

LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:Valid California Class C drivers First Aid and CPR certifications issued by an authorized in this classification are required to speak read and write in a designated second language and pass the Districtslanguage proficiency possess an Auburn Union School District Instructional Assistant Proficiency Certificate. An AA degree will take place of the Proficiency Exam.A letter writing exam will follow the interview.
