The purpose of a Community Liaison is to improve communication and student achievement by promoting parent and community involvement in the educational process; refer and provide information on services available to students and families; convey and interpret information regarding school and/or District activities policies goals and procedures; plan organize and coordinate a variety of events and activities in support of the Districts educational program; and work a flexible schedule as needed by the High school diploma or equivalent supplemented by course work or training in community awareness or in multilingual and multi-cultural programs and one (1) year of paid or volunteer experience providing service in community or school service programs or a related area. OPEN TESTING Open to employees of the District and the public with the selection process resulting in one (1) Eligibility List that will be used to fill current vacancies and any future vacancies that occur within one (1) year or until the list becomes exhausted. Current permanent employees of the District will be awarded seniority points as per the properly completed applications will be reviewed and the most highly qualified individuals will be invited to continue in the selection process. The process may consist of an evaluation and scoring of application materials written testing oral interview and/or performance test to evaluate the applicants skill training and EdJoin system will time-out after a 20 minute period of perceived inactivity. Your responses to the supplemental questions are limited to 5000 characters.A completed on-line application is required of all applicants to be considered for this opening. Once you have submitted your application please check your email because EdJoin will send you an email verifying that your application has been submitted correctly.
