ACLU of Georgia welcomes interns each spring summer and fall across legal policy communications community engagement and voter access teams. We accept students at all levels including high school undergraduate graduate and post-graduate.


Fall 2026 term: September 9th- December 11th 2026(dates are approximate based on department needs and academic schedules).


Theinternshipthis term will offer academiccredit only. Individual schedules will be arranged with intern supervisors. All applicants must complete this application form which includes providing a resume. Some applicants may be required to provide additional documents.

Community Engagement


Interns with the Community Engagement Manager will gain hands-on experience in grassroots organizing coalition building and community outreach strategy in support of ACLU of Georgias advocacy priorities. They will support active community engagement campaigns contribute to activist and advocacy programs and assist with outreach efforts across the state. This internship is a good fit for students interested in civil rights advocacy community organizing strategy or nonprofit campaign work who are looking to build practical skills in a mission-driven environment.
