Job Summary

Parkland Royale located in Parkland FL is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Community Association Manager! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn contribute and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. Compensation: $82000 annually
General Purpose:
A Community Associations Manager (CAM) serves as the Operations Officer of the Homeowners Association (HOA). The CAM oversees all aspects of HOA operations including relationships between the Community and its members guests residents and addition the CAM works directly with the General Manager Community Board of Directors Troon Leadership Finance and Budget Team and vendors to provide unparalleled service accountability and the ultimate lifestyle experience for our members.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivers and promotes prompt courteous and genuine service to all residents members guests and employees.
  • Motivates directs and assists department heads managers and front-line staff on a daily basis.
  • Plans develops and implements operational procedures and methods in concert with Troon practices and policies.
  • Ensures that the goals and objectives of the HOA are implemented on a continuous basis to meet the expectations of the residents membership Board of Directors and management.
  • Coordinates the development of operating and capital budgets according to the budget calendar; monitors monthly quarterly and annual financial statements for the HOA; takes effective corrective action as required.
  • Maintains memberships with relevant professional associations. Attends conferences workshops and meetings to keep abreast of current information and developments in the field.
  • Understands and keeps abreast of the HOAs financial recordkeeping.
  • Completes daily month-end and annual reporting as required.
  • Monitors the quality of the HOAs products and services and ensures maximum member and guest satisfaction.
  • Secures and protects the HOAs assets including facilities and equipment.
  • Builds and nurtures professional relationships between the Community team members and the Company.
  • Assists in directing and coordinating the activities of contracted vendors and evaluates their performance.
  • Facilitates and prepares paperwork for meetings such as Budget Annual and Board of Directors meetings.
  • Investigates complaints disturbances and violations and resolves problems in accordance with established rules.
  • Inspects grounds facilities and equipment to determine the necessity of repairs or maintenance.
  • Solicits and analyzes bids from contractors for repairs and maintenance.
  • Assists in planning scheduling and coordinating general maintenance major repairs and construction projects as directed.
  • Maintains records of maintenance and operating costs as well as all related Association purchases.
  • Purchases supplies as needed.
  • Assists the Board with the selection of vendors and manages contracts for the provision of Association services such as cleaning maintenance and security services as directed.
  • Assists in the preparation of detailed budgets and financial reports for Associations.
  • Confers regularly with community association members to ensure their needs are being met.
  • Meets with the Board of Directors and committees to discuss and resolve legal and environmental issues or any other Association matter.
  • Provides leadership to team members.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Previous management experience in association operations required.
  • A minimum of ten years of professional experience is preferred.
  • Proven leadership experience is mandatory.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with members guests and employees in one-on-one and small group situations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to create and disseminate written correspondence.
  • Ability to delegate responsibilities.
  • Ability to motivate develop and manage a team.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Must be able to perform math computations essential for budgeting and cost analysis purposes.
Working Conditions:
  • Regularly required to stand talk and hear.
  • Frequently walks uses hands to finger handle or feel reaches with hands and arms and climbs or balances.
  • Occasionally sits stoops kneels crouches and tastes or smells.
  • Frequently lifts or moves up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifts or moves up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision distance vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
  • May occasionally be required to operate a motor vehicle.

Certificates/Licenses:

  • Florida Community Association Manager (CAM) License required.
