Job Summary
Glenbrook High School District 225 is seeking a creative and self-motivated student to join our communications team for the 202627 school year. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to build professional skills in media production while contributing to projects that connect and inform our school community. The primary focus of this position will be producing the Glenbrook Insights Podcast and creating engaging video content for the districts social media channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Podcast Production:
- Edit and produce episodes of the Glenbrook Insights Podcast from concept to publication
- Ensure audio quality meets professional standards
- Publish and promote episodes across relevant platforms
Video Production for Social Media:
- Film and edit short-form videos for podcast marketing and promotion
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in podcast production (preferred but not required)
- Familiarity with audio editing software (e.g. Audacity GarageBand Adobe Audition)
- Experience filming and editing video content
- Proficiency in video editing programs (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro Final Cut Pro iMovie)
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliability in meeting project deadlines
