Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for aCommoditiesManager to joinourBy-Products team!This person is responsible for the sales tradingand management of assigned commodities with the primary aim to achieve budget.This includes the development implementationand management of trading strategies within approved policies for the profitable operation of thebusinessunit.

This role will be basedfully onsiteat our Corporateoffice in Greeley CO.

Responsibilities:

• Drivesales to achieve budgetary and company targets as set including profit targets cash flow return on assetsand working capital requirements
• Develop in conjunction with thecommercialmanagers sales tradingand operational strategies that are realistic and profitable
• Identify growth opportunities though the leverage of existing assets and the identification of new opportunities in conjunction with business development and projects
• Overall development of the sales process including the customer base and servicing of existing customers
• Maintain effective relationships with internal counterparts customersandthird-partysuppliers
• Manage designated key customers/destinations as a complete package to ensure that the Companys trading activities exceed the expectations of new and existing buyers and suppliers
• Work with shipping logistics rail financeand other functions that impact on key accounts and relevant commodities
• Liaise with the Commercial Manager concerning process issues in the Trading and Administration areas
• Promote the activitiesoftrading of commodities on a daily basis
• Ensure the appropriate protection of the Companys financial interests by conscious and active risk management
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelorsdegree preferred in Agricultural Business Animal Science Business Administration Economics or related field
• 5-10 years relevant industry experience
• Previous physical commodity trading experience highly desired
• Demonstrated success leading a team in a commercial environment
• Sales andmarketing experience
• Strong knowledge of International Shipping and Logistics processes
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
• Problem solving skills
• Strong knowledge of agricultural supply systems and exporting/importing/logistics for perishable commodities
• Microsoft Office applications including Excel PowerPoint WordandOutlook
• Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
• As a salaried position with the company you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities to attend Company events or as a representative of the Company in other situations. Unless otherwise specified in this posting the amount of travel may vary and the most qualified candidate must be willing and able to travel as business needs dictate.

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

• Benefits: Vision Medical and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
• Paid Time Off: sick leave vacation and 6 company observed holidays;
• 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
• Base salary range of $115000-$135000; and
• Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Companys annual bonus plan the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;

The posted salary range represents the Companys good faith estimate of the compensation that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including but not limited to relevant experience skills qualifications tenure internal equity market data and may vary accordingly.
