Role Overview:

Our client is seeking a Commissioning Project Manager to join their growing commissioning team. This position is based in Boise ID with the unique opportunity to shape a growing team presence and team here.

This is a key project leadership role for someone who enjoys bringing people information and technical details together to deliver successful projects. The right person is a curious problem-solver trusted client partner and tenacious finisher who takes ownership communicates clearly and creates order across complex projects.

What Youll Do:

  • Lead commissioning projects from proposal and planning through functional testing issue resolution and closeout.
  • Manage project scope schedules budgets deliverables and client expectations.
  • Coordinate commissioning engineers technicians design teams contractors owners and other project stakeholders.
  • Apply sound technical judgment to evaluate designs investigate issues and develop practical solutions.
  • Facilitate productive meetings clearly communicate findings and keep decisions and action items moving forward.
  • Build trusted client relationships through responsiveness accountability and an understanding of each clients goals.
  • Mentor team members share knowledge and contribute to the continued improvement of our commissioning processes and standards.
  • Support future project opportunities by developing strong mutually beneficial relationships with clients and industry partners.

What You Bring

  • Five or more years of experience in commissioning engineering installation startup testing or operation of building systems.
  • Strong working knowledge of mechanical electrical plumbing controls lighting power security laboratory or other complex building systems.
  • Experience independently managing projects priorities budgets schedules and multidisciplinary teams.
  • The ability to investigate technical challenges ask thoughtful questions and drive issues toward resolution.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills including the ability to explain technical information to varied audiences.
  • A Mechanical Professional Engineer license or the ability to obtain one within 12 months.
  • A commissioning credential such as CCP or BCxP is preferred.
