Note:Must have a Bachelors degree and/or Paralegal Certificate and 5 years of commercial real estate paralegal experience. Strong experience with title and survey review due diligence entity formation and closing coordination is required.

Job Description

• Manage commercial real estate transactions from initial opening through closing and post-closing.
• Prepare and maintain deal files transaction checklists closing documents and related records.
• Draft and revise transaction documents correspondence and organizational documents.
• Coordinate and review due diligence materials including title commitments surveys zoning reports and related documentation.
• Prepare signature packages closing binders and post-closing deliverables.
• Coordinate with clients attorneys title companies lenders and other transaction professionals.
• Prepare closing statements and assist with escrow-style closings.
• Maintain accurate time entries and transaction records.
• Track multiple transactions deadlines and deliverables to keep deals moving efficiently.
• Travel locally as needed for client meetings and closings.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree and/or Paralegal Certificate.
• 5 years of commercial real estate paralegal experience preferably in a law firm environment.
• Experience with commercial real estate transactions title and survey review due diligence entity formation and closing coordination.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Kofax.
• Strong organization communication time management and attention to detail.
• Ability to independently manage multiple transactions and competing deadlines.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Notary Public designation or willingness to obtain one is preferred.
• Experience obtaining EINs and preparing related IRS forms is a plus.
• Willingness to work occasional overtime evenings or weekends when transaction needs require it.
