Commercial Real Estate Associate or Counsel

Join a leading New Jersey commercial real estate practice as an Associate or Counsel with 3 to 15 years of experience. You will handle sophisticated transactions and development matters for developers property owners and investors taking meaningful ownership of files with partner oversight.

• Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements leases and loan documents and manage closings.
• Work directly with clients to develop practical solutions for commercial real estate matters.
• Review title and survey materials for complex transactions.
• Support land use and redevelopment matters including zoning approvals redevelopment agreements PILOTs and incentive work.
• Work with practice leaders on commercial real estate transactions including CMBS loans 1031 exchanges and mixed-use redevelopment projects.

• Three to 15 years of experience as a commercial real estate attorney including recent and continuous transactional practice at a law firm.
• Experience managing matters with partner oversight and producing careful polished written work.
• Background representing developers or owners on development matters; land use experience is valuable.
• A client-facing business-minded approach and the ability to work collaboratively with partners and teams.
• Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Base salary is $175000 to $250000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Hybrid based in Roseland New Jersey with an additional work location in Woodbridge New Jersey.
