Primary Function
The Commercial Operations Analyst is responsible for serving as the Companys subject matter expert for CRM governance recommending system enhancements and process changes to improve commercial performance. This role partners with executive leadership to shape commercial reporting strategy and drives cross-functional initiatives that strengthen data quality and decision-making across the organization. The position will be based in our Houston Texas office located at 12301 Kurland Drive STE 400 Houston TX 77034 and will report to Dashiells Sales Director.
Duties & Responsibilities
Employee may be called upon to perform any or all of the following functions:
Serve as the Companys subject matter expert for CRM governance recommending system enhancements and process changes to improve commercial performance.
Evaluate business processes and independently recommend workflow improvements automation opportunities and reporting enhancements.
Partner with executive leadership to identify analytical priorities and develop reporting strategies that support organizational objectives.
Define and maintain enterprise CRM governance standards including data quality reporting methodologies and KPI definitions.
Assess the business impact of requested system changes and recommend implementation priorities.
Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve commercial reporting forecasting and operational decision-making.
Monitor CRM data integrity and lead remediation efforts when quality issues are identified.
Develop dashboards reports and analytical tools that provide visibility into commercial performance for leadership.
Serve as a liaison between commercial stakeholders and IT to translate business requirements into system capabilities.
Document CRM governance policies standard operating procedures and system change protocols.
Perform special projects and complete other duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Qualifications / Experience
Required
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Information Systems or a related field required (4 years of directly relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
Minimum 4 years of experience in CRM administration business analysis or commercial operations.
Demonstrated experience with CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce Microsoft Dynamics or similar) including governance configuration and reporting.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into system requirements and reporting solutions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skills for reporting and data analysis.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present recommendations to executive leadership.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cross-functional initiatives simultaneously.
Driving is not required for this position.
Preferred
Experience in the construction EPC or energy industries.
CRM administrator certification (e.g. Salesforce Administrator) a plus.
Experience with business intelligence or data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau).
Physical Requirements

Ability to sit for extended periods during computer-based work.
Ability to stand and walk intermittently throughout the workday.
Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds.
Occasional travel to other offices or meeting locations.
Environmental Conditions
Primarily climate-controlled office environment.
Occasional exposure to field or industrial environments during site visits.
