The Role
The Project Manager owns the delivery of one or more commercial construction projects from start to finish. Youll lead risk management planning contracting and day-to-day project oversight working closely with superintendents and the broader project team to hit quality safety schedule and budget goals.
What Youll Do
- Oversee project financials owner and subcontractor contracts scheduling documentation and change orders
- Lead weekly OAC meetings and manage relationships with owners designers consultants and trade partners
- Support permitting project startup and site logistics planning
- Build the master schedule alongside the superintendent and project team
- Handle subcontractor and supplier buyout contract negotiation and procurement
- Manage submittals and RFIs while supporting site safety quality control and compliance
- Lead bid package development estimating and preconstruction efforts
- Perform constructability reviews value engineering life-cycle cost analysis and site investigations
- Develop GMP amendments and supporting exhibits
- Create and manage project budgets with regular forecasts and reporting for accounting and leadership
- Track labor productivity and forecast labor needs with the field team
What You Bring
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management Engineering or a related field preferred
- 5 to 10 years of project management experience in commercial construction strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of construction and contract law building codes public works prevailing wage and payroll reporting
- Experience across delivery methods including lump sum CM/GC and design-build
- Proficiency with MS Office MS Project or P6 Bluebeam and Procore or Sage
- Valid drivers license and insurable driving record
