Commercial Electrician

Skillforce is hiring Commercial Electricians for ongoing project work in Charlotte North Carolina. As a Commercial Electrician you will be responsible for installing and finishing electrical systems on commercial jobs. Commercial Electrician Pay:

• $27.00 to $32.00 per hour based on your commercial electrical experience.
• W-2 employment with weekly pay.

Commercial Electrician Schedule:

• Monday through Friday on a morning shift.
• Daytime hours with your weekends kept free.
• Immediate openings on ongoing commercial projects.

Commercial Electrician Responsibilities:

• Bend and install EMT conduit and run MC cable for commercial power and lighting circuits.
• Pull terminate and label wire in panels junction boxes and devices.
• Set boxes supports and hangers so conduit runs are neat straight and up to code.
• Read blueprints and electrical drawings to lay out and complete your own work.
• Install and connect panelboards disconnects light fixtures switches and receptacles.
• Test circuits and troubleshoot problems so systems are ready for inspection.
• Coordinate with the foreman and other trades to keep the job on schedule.
• Follow jobsite safety and lockout and tagout procedures and keep your work area clean.

Commercial Electrician Qualifications:

• At least three years of commercial electrical experience.
• Ability to run your work on your own with minimal supervision.
• Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code and electrical prints.
• Hands-on experience bending conduit and terminating panels on commercial jobs.
• Commercial new construction and tenant fit-out experience are both welcome.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
