Commercial Construction Estimator

Skillforce is seeking a Commercial Construction Estimator for a full-time/direct hire role with our client. This contractor is looking for someone to stay and grow into a management position.

Location: Orlando FL area
Salary Range: $75000 - $100000 annually (with generous bonus opportunities)

Commercial Construction Estimator Responsibilities

• Generate accurate competitive cost estimates using Stack estimating software.
• Review and interpret project plans specifications and requirements.
• Lead and manage projects independently from pre-construction through closeout.
• Analyze labor materials and timelines to create cost-effective bids.
• Identify project risks early and recommend proactive solutions.
• Stay current on industry standards pricing trends and material/labor costs.

Commercial Construction Estimator Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Construction Management (preferred)
• Interest in commercial construction estimating (waterproofing caulking roofing protective coatings).
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and construction drawings.
• Experience with estimating software (Stack preferred but not required)
• Excellent organizational problem-solving and communication skills.
