Jack Laurie Group is looking for a skilled Commercial Carpenter to join our Fort Wayne team. This position will focus on a variety of commercial interior construction projects with a strong emphasis on acoustical/drop ceiling installation.

• Install acoustical/drop ceiling systems
  
• Read and interpret project drawings and specifications
  
• Layout and install ceiling grids and ceiling tile
  
• Perform light framing trim and finish carpentry work
  
• Complete punch list items and project closeout work
  
• Work safely and professionally on active construction sites
  
• Maintain quality workmanship and attention to detail
  

• Commercial carpentry experience preferred
  
• Experience installing drop/acoustical ceilings strongly preferred
  
• Ability to read a tape measure and use standard construction tools
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
  
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance
  
• Commitment to safety and professionalism
