Scope of Project:

The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) is seeking a Technical Specialist for the Electronic Lien & Titling Project. The selected contractor will analyze complex legacy program modules and perform coding testing and implementation of major modifications to existing mainframe applications. The role also includes business analysis documentation quality control and support for enterprise legacy modernization initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Analyze define and document requirements for data and business processes.
Analyze complex legacy program modules.
Code and test new and existing modules.
Design document and coordinate modifications to legacy applications.
Document program and project deliverables.
Analyze feasibility and compatibility with other programs and projects.
Provide quality control for project deliverables.
Perform analysis and design activities.
Resolve highly complex technical issues.
Collaborate with business management and IT teams.

Required/Preferred Skills:

Required:

10 years of IBM z/OS experience.
10 years of COBOL CICS and DB2 experience.
5 years of CICS Transaction Server (CTS) and/or CICS Transaction Gateway (CTG) Web Services experience.
10 years of ENDEVOR experience.
5 years of CA DB2 Products experience.
Business Systems Analysis experience.

Highly Desired:

CICS Web Services.
DMV Application Systems.
State or County Government experience.
Secure Socket Layer (SSL) experience.
Enterprise-level application development across multiple business areas.

Nice to Have:

C# and Framework experience.
