MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Varsity Head coaches need three (3) years of head coaching in Soccer at the high school college or club level within the last seven (7) and Freshman Head coaches need three (3) years of experience playing and coaching Soccer at the high school college or club level within the last seven (7) and Freshman Assistant coaches need one (1) year playing or coaching Soccer at the high school college or club level within the last seven (7) years.A verifiable record of having been part of a winning tradition including post-season C.I.F. playoff competition as a coach is desirable.A proven verifiable record of positive staff student and administrative support and relationships.A proven verifiable record of placing appropriate emphasis on good sportsmanship academic excellence positive attitudes and character.A demonstrated ability to work with parents and athletic booster clubs.A demonstrated ability to serve as a positive role model for student athletes and a commitment to holding all students and adults associated with the program to the same standards.A long-term commitment to develop and sustain a positive winning tradition.* * * * * * * * * * * * * *
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must be certified under Title V C.C.R. Section 5593 and 5594 prior to the beginning of the CIF season of sport. The training and certification is available to all coaches on-line at . The following certifications must be completed before assuming individual coaching duties:Fingerprints (Will be done upon selection of candidate)First Aid and CPR (CPR must be an in-person course AND Both First Aid and CPR must be from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross)CIF Fundamentals of Coaching CertificationCIF Concussion in Sports CertificationCIF Heat Illness Prevention CertificationCIF Sudden Cardiac Arrest CertificationCurrent T.B. examinationMandated Child Abuse Reporter Certification (Will be done upon selection of candidate)* * * * * * * * *APPLICATION PROCESS: Applications from qualified candidates are invited. A complete application file consists of:A completed EDJOIN application An up-to-date sports resume (Please ensure resume reflects your athletic coaching experience)Two (2) recent athletic letters of recommendation REQUIRED. The letters must be signed and dated within the last 2 years. Acceptable signatures are: electronic documents (Docusign or similar platform) or handwritten scanned signatures. Typed signatures will not be submit an application you must log onto . Applicants are responsible for assuring that Human Resources receive the online application submission of their application before the deadline.
