Shift: 2nd Shift
Pay:$28.59/hr Shift Differential
Job Type: Direct Hire
A growing St. Louis manufacturer is seeking an experienced CNC Set-Up Machinist to join its machining team. This hands-on role is responsible for setting up CNC equipment maintaining tooling troubleshooting machining issues and producing precision components.
Responsibilities
- Set up CNC machining centers
- Perform tooling setup and maintenance
- Read engineering drawings
- Install fixtures and tooling
- Adjust machine offsets
- Machine precision components
- Troubleshoot machining issues
- Maintain CNC equipment
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Machining or equivalent experience preferred
- CNC setup experience
- Blueprint reading skills
- Experience with precision measuring equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work independently in a manufacturing environment
