CNC Programmer Aerospace

Job DescriptionCreates part programs utilizing Catia V5 to control machining or processing of metal by automatic machine tools equipment or systems. Use Vericut software for program Functions:To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty. Reasonable Accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job orders drawings blueprints data in order to calculate dimensions tool selections machine speeds and feed geometric layouts from graphic and create the required reference points or machine cutting paths and the sequence of machine computer simulations to ensure that programs and machinery will function properly and produce parts that meet customer machines on trial runs with internal customer to verify programs and/or tapes to eliminate errors and retest programs to check that problems have been perform modifications to existing programs to enhance with internal and external customers as needed to support part programming and design other job-related duties as Education and ExperienceHigh School diploma or GED equivalent is requiredCatia V5 6R 2023 Certification is preferred Minimum of 3 years aerospace CNC machine programming experience requiredOther Required Skills and AbilitiesExperience reading & accurately interpreting shop blueprints sketches and other technical information/instructions is requiredDemonstrated basic math skills (add subtract multiply divide fraction conversions)Experience troubleshooting production issues and program editsDemonstrated reliability and ability to maintain consistent performance and attendanceComputer skills -Catia V5 proficiency required.
