CNC Operator 2nd Shift

Milacron is looking for a 2nd Shift CNC Operator to join our team in Mt. Orab this position you will be responsible for grinding and finishing metal parts to specification inspecting products for quality compliance and supporting safe efficient manufacturing Youll Do:Grind metal objects including castings billets and machine parts to smooth or rough-finish surfaces according to excess metal scratches and burrs using rotating grinding and measure workpieces to verify conformance with engineering specifications and company and mount abrasive wheels of varying grit sizes to achieve required product accuracy using job travelers and related production a wide variety of commercial and manufactured parts and accurately record inspection complex drawings process sheets sectional views and company with quality and production management to address manufacturing issues and machine performance perform preventative maintenance and maintain required fluid levels on precision measuring tools overhead cranes power tools and other equipment while maintaining safety quality delivery cost 5S housekeeping teamwork and attendance product and process improvements and perform other duties as :Technical Program Certificate or 1 years of related experience or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience operating grinding equipment machines and products to inspect parts and use inspection methodologies to record results to read and interpret complex drawings process sheets and engineering using precision measuring instruments and to operate overhead cranes and safely handle mathematical skills including addition subtraction multiplication and to understand and follow verbal and written to interact professionally with customers and flexibility in high-pressure situations changing priorities and new to utilize power tools and various manufacturing equipment as to continuous improvement teamwork quality and workplace safety.
