$20.00 - $30.00/hr ($41600 - $62400/yr) based on experience and level. We hire at both Machinist I (entry level) and Machinist II (3 years experience).
- Operate production Haas CNC mills and lathes on second shift loading and unloading parts monitoring cycles and keeping output moving.
- Follow traveler work instructions to produce conforming parts the first time every time.
- Measure your own work using calipers micrometers and gauges and flag anything that doesnt look right before it becomes a problem downstream.
- Deburr clean and prep finished parts so theyre ready for inspection without a second trip back to you.
- Keep your area clean organized and safe because in an aerospace shop housekeeping is not optional.
- (Machinist II) Adjust offsets swap tooling troubleshoot dimensional drift and help bring newer operators up to speed.
