Job Responsibilities
As a CNC Mazak Operator you may be responsible for:
- Set up and operate Mazak CNC machines to produce quality parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints work orders and engineering drawings.
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary offsets and adjustments.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure quality standards are met.
- Load raw materials and unload finished parts safely and efficiently.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment clean.
- Troubleshoot minor machining issues and notify supervisors of any major concerns.
- Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
- Follow all company safety policies and manufacturing procedures.
- Work with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
What Were Looking For
- Minimum of 3 years of experience operating Mazak CNC machines is required.
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining quality standards.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
- Ability to frequently bend twist reach and lift materials.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment around moving equipment and machinery.
