CNC Lathe Machinist

• Operate CNC Swiss machines in a production environment

• Load raw material and monitor machine performance during production runs

• Perform in-process inspections using micrometers calipers gauges and comparators

• Read and interpret blueprints travelers and work instructions

• Make minor tool wear offsets and adjustments as needed

• Maintain production quality and efficiency standards

• Troubleshoot minor machine or tooling issues

• Follow all safety and housekeeping procedures

• Perform machine setups tooling changes and job changeovers

• Set tooling load programs and verify first article inspections

• Edit offsets and make adjustments at the machine as needed

• Troubleshoot machining tooling and quality issues

• Optimize cycle times and improve production efficiency

• Support operators during production runs

• Ensure parts are manufactured to print and quality standards

• Experience operating and/or setting up CNC Swiss machines required

• Experience with Fanuc controls preferred

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
