As our Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) you will be a cornerstone of patient care directly contributing to comfort safety and recovery by providing essential support under RN direction. Every day you will deliver compassionate basic care assist with patient transport and actively contribute to the patients plan of care as a vital member of our multi-disciplinary team upholding the highest standards of conduct and patient well-being. • Delivers direct patient care as delegated including but not limited to oral cares bathing transferring repositioning feeding and providing direct supervision for patients requiring it
• Communicates and works cooperatively with nursing staff by reporting observations serving as a liaison between patient and nurse and updating other staff members through shift report
• Measures and documents accurately and at the time of occurrence vital signs input and output weights procedures personal care activities of daily living specimens as directed observations dietary intake and ambulation
• Assumes routine coordination of clerical activities under the direction of department leadership and nurses on duty including answering and routing phone calls stocking supplies communicating new orders and test results to pertinent staff and locating charts and forms as requested
• Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality
