Were recruiting for an experiencedCMM Programmerto join a well-established employee-owned manufacturer in Oxford CT.

What Youll Do

  • Develop modify validate and troubleshootCMM programsusing PC-DMIS Calypso or similar software.
  • Interpret engineering drawings CAD models customer specifications andGD&Trequirements.
  • Perform dimensional inspections using CMMs Micro-Vu vision systems and precision measurement equipment.
  • ConductFirst Article Inspections (FAI)and complete AS9102 documentation as required.
  • Develop inspection plans and automated inspection routines for new and existing products.
  • PerformGage R&R MSA and process capability studiesand analyze inspection data.
  • Support drawing reviews and assist with inspection fixture and measurement setup development.
  • Perform calibration and verification of automated inspection equipment.
  • Provide metrology support toQuality Engineering Manufacturing and Toolingteams.
  • Train employees on automated inspection equipment and proper measurement techniques.
  • Maintain accurate inspection and quality records in accordance with customer and company requirements.

What Were Looking For

  • 3 years of hands-onCMM programmingexperience in precision manufacturing.
  • Ability to independently create modify and troubleshoot CMM programs.
  • Proficiency withPC-DMIS Calypso or similar software.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering drawings CAD models specifications andGD&T / ASME Y14.5.
  • Strong understanding of dimensional metrology inspection planning datums and precision measurement.
  • Experience with micrometers calipers height gauges indicators pin gauges and similar tools.
  • Experience withFAI MSA Gage R&R capability studies SPC/SQC.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency withMicrosoft Excel Word databases spreadsheets and related software.
