Cloud Engineer – Tech Lead (FaaS Platform)

Core Responsibilities

• Drive design and delivery of event-driven serverless solutions

• Guide reliability scalability and multi-region strategies

• Deliver complex work through others while remaining hands-on

• Mentor engineers and elevate technical capability across the team

• Partner with security compliance and engineering teams

• Improve developer experience through platform capabilities tooling and documentation

Qualifications

• Minimum of eight years related work experience.

• Undergraduate degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of training and experience.

• Deep AWS experience including Lambda and event-driven architectures

• Experience with software development. Languages needed: Python Node (nice to have) Java (nice to have)

• Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code and reusable platform patterns

• Experience building and operating distributed highly available systems

• Understanding of cloud security IAM and enterprise compliance

• Experience with observability monitoring and production operations

• Knowledge of HTTP and Web patterns (nice to have: strong experience

Platform Engineering

• Experience building or operating internal platforms or developer tooling

• Strong focus on self-service capabilities and developer experience

• Experience supporting production systems with on-call accountability

Technical Leadership

• Proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives

• Experience mentoring engineers and guiding technical direction

• Strong collaboration across cross-functional stakeholders

• Ability to influence decisions beyond immediate team
