Summary:
- Location: Jacksonville FL
- Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM EST
Responsibilities:
- Define and enforce enterprise cloud architecture standards and best practices.
- Lead large-scale cloud initiatives migrations and modernization programs.
- Partner with security networking and application teams to ensure integrated solutions.
- Drive adoption of automation DevOps and governance frameworks across teams.
- Serve as a technical advisor to leadership and mentor senior engineers.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure or cloud engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on Azure experience in enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of Azure networking identity storage and compute.
- Experience with Azure Monitor Log Analytics and Defender for Cloud.
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell Python or Bash).
- Familiarity with hybrid cloud and on-prem integration scenarios.
Preferred Skills:
- Azure certifications - one or more of the following:
- AZ-104: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (Highly Preferred)
- AZ-305: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- AZ-400: Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert
- Experience with cloud cost optimization and FinOps practices.
- 5 years Hands-On Azure Engineering Experience.
- Experience deploying IaC with Terraform.
- AWS hands-on experience.
- Experience working in a regulated financial environment.
