- Outpatient (Spoke)

An exciting opportunity to join the Outpatient Spoke team and our mobile unit bringing services to rural areas. The mobile unit helps reduce barriers to care by offering substance use and co-occurring mental health services to adults in familiar accessible locations. You will provide a combination of individual and group therapy supporting clients at various stages of recovery and with a range of clinical and case management needs. The right candidate is trauma-informed flexible and comfortable working with clients who may experience complex and persistent challenges. This position requires a collaborative approach and the ability to engage clients using motivational interviewing harm reduction and recovery-oriented practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group therapy to adults with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders
  • Provide evidence-based trauma-informed and person-centered interventions
  • Support clients receiving medication for opioid use disorder (MOUD) through collaboration with medical and treatment team providers
  • Complete clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide care coordination and collaborate with internal and external providers and community supports
  • Support client engagement recovery and retention in treatment
  • Participate in team meetings consultation and clinical supervision

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in a related field
  • Valid drivers license with use of a personal vehicle
  • Two years of relevant professional experience
  • Clinical license or on the roster of Non-licensed and Non-certified Psychotherapists

Vermont regulation mandates that individuals who are on the Roster of Nonlicensed Noncertified Psychotherapists through the Office of Professional Regulation must be actively working towards professional licensure. This rule does not apply to First Call for Chittenden County.

Structure:

  • Full-time
  • Exempt
  • AFSCME Union (dues will apply)
  • Annual salary starting at $57314.71 (Non-Licensed) $61269.43 (Licensed)
