Job Summary
The Cumberland County Guidance Center is seeking a Full-Time Clinical Specialist to join our Program of Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) team in Bridgeton NJ.
This position provides an opportunity to work closely with individuals living with severe and persistent mental illness while delivering community-based recovery-oriented behavioral healthcare. As a Clinical Specialist on the PACT Team youll work collaboratively with psychiatrists nurses case managers peers and community partners to support individuals in recovery.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing individual and group counseling services
- Conducting mental health assessments and crisis evaluations
- Coordinating services with medical clinical and community providers
- Supporting medication monitoring and treatment compliance
- Engaging family members and natural support systems
- Connecting clients with community resources and support services
- Assisting with transportation and community-based interventions
- Participating in on-call rotation responsibilities

- Masters Degree in Social Work Psychology Counseling or related Human Services field
- Minimum two years of post-bachelors experience working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness
- Knowledge of behavioral health services and community resources
- Valid New Jersey drivers license with acceptable driving history
- Spanish-speaking ability
- Experience in community mental health
- Crisis intervention experience
- Experience providing individual and group therapy
- Experience working in multidisciplinary treatment teams
