Clinical Risk Manager Risk Management

POSITION SUMMARY:The Clinical Risk Manager is responsible for identifying evaluating and mitigating clinical and operational risks across the organization. This organizing and administering risk management activities including but not limited to managing claims made against the Clinic coordination with defense counsel and Clinic insurers facilitating quality improvement activities and managing and analyzing risk management & EXPERIENCE:Graduation from an accredited school of nursing (Registered Nurse) requiredCurrent MS state licensure requiredMinimum of three (3) years of experience in management of a medical office preferredProficiency in use of an EMR preferredCertified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) or willingness to obtain certification requiredQUALIFICATIONS:Must have strong interpersonal skills with a high level of professionalismMust have strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work collaboratively across departments and specialtiesAbility to conduct investigations and root cause analysesKnowledge of patient safety principles regulatory requirements and risk management practicesStrong discretion and ability to handle confidential informationComposure in fastpaced highpressure environmentsWillingness and ability to learn new technologiesDependable punctual and highly detailorientedStrong multitasking and independentwork capabilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAccurate documentation skillsAbility to follow established workflows consistentlyMust be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications including Outlook Teams Word Excel and PowerPointWORK SCHEDULE:Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM
