Clinical Research Coordinator II

Bachelors degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

The Clinical Research Coordinator II will support clinical research activities within the iBRAIN Laboratory in the Department of Neurology at the University of Florida. This position is responsible for coordinating human subjects research focused on neurological disorders including epilepsy and dementia. The incumbent will work closely with the Principal Investigator and research team to ensure efficient compliant and timely implementation of study protocols.

Participant Recruitment and Study Coordination

• Recruit screen consent enroll and retain participants
• Schedule and coordinate study visits assessments imaging electrophysiology biospecimen collection and follow-up activities
• Maintain screening/enrollment logs and communicate with participants caregivers clinical teams and investigators

Data Collection and Management

• Collect enter verify and track clinical behavioral imaging electrophysiology and biospecimen data
• Maintain accurate source documents case report forms and coded records
• Complete REDCap/Epic data entry quality checks query resolution secure data transfer and archiving

Regulatory Compliance Quality Assurance and Study Operations

• Prepare and maintain IRB submissions consent documents regulatory files deviations adverse-event
  records and required reports
• Track study milestones support monitoring and audits coordinate start-up and closeout activities and ensure compliance with protocols Good Clinical Practice and UF/UF Health requirements

Research Team and General Support

• Participate in research team meetings and complete required training and relevant professional development activities
• Provide general research and administrative support and perform other related duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator

Managing Clinical Trial funding

• Coordinate and process participant payments for clinical research study visits in accordance with study
  protocols sponsor requirements institutional policies and regulatory guidelines
• Verify visit completion and participant eligibility for reimbursement maintain accurate payment documentation reconcile payment records resolve payment-related inquiries and ensure timely and compliant disbursement of participant compensation while maintaining confidentiality and data integrity

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Three (3) or more years of human-subjects or clinical research experience
• Proficiency with REDCap Epic OnCore or similar systems
• Familiarity with Good Clinical Practice and research requirements
• Experience with clinical behavioral neuroimaging electrophysiology or biospecimen data
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple studies with minimal supervision
• Clinical research certification such as CCRC
