As a Clinical Pharmacist you will serve as a trusted medication expert and integral member of the healthcare team by:
- Reviewing and evaluating medication therapies for safety effectiveness and appropriateness
- Collaborating with physicians nurses and other clinicians to optimize patient care
- Identifying and resolving medication-related issues adverse reactions and drug interactions
- Monitoring patient responses to therapy and recommending adjustments when appropriate
- Providing medication education and consultation to patients and healthcare providers
- Serving as a key clinical resource on formulary management medication utilization and evidence-based practices
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives medication-use evaluations and patient safety programs
- Supporting pharmacy learners through student and resident education opportunities
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and utilizing technology systems including Epic Micromedex and pharmacy automation platforms

- Bachelor of Science (BS) in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited school of pharmacy
- Current pharmacist license in the state of practice (or eligibility for licensure)
- Two or more years of clinical pharmacy experience
- PGY-1 Residency training
- Missouri Medication Therapy Services Certificate (required within 90 days of hire for Missouri pharmacists)
