Howard Center is seeking a passionate and experienced Clinical Manager to lead our INCLUSION TABS (Tutoring and Behavioral Services) K to 5th grade program. This is an exciting opportunity for a licensed clinician and leader who is committed to helping children with emotional behavioral neurodivergent and intellectual disabilities achieve success through individualized trauma-informed educational and behavioral supports.
As the Clinical Manager you will provide clinical leadership staff supervision program oversight crisis management and direct support to students and families while helping shape the future of a highly specialized educational treatment program. You will play a critical role in fostering a safe supportive and growth-oriented environment where students can develop the skills needed to transition successfully to less restrictive educational settings.
About INCLUSION TABS
INCLUSION TABS is a licensed tutorial program that provides intensive trauma-informed educational and behavioral treatment services for children who require a highly individualized learning environment. Serving up to nine students at a time the program offers short-term one-to-one academic and behavioral support designed to strengthen emotional regulation communication social-emotional functioning adaptive skills independence and academic achievement.
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership and direction for the INCLUSION Program- TABS.
- Provide direct clinical services and crisis response as needed.
- Lead the development implementation and ongoing improvement of individualized treatment and instructional programming.
- Ensure evidence-based and trauma-informed practices are embedded throughout the program.
- Deliver clinical training coaching and consultation to direct care staff.
- Foster a culture of professional growth collaboration and excellence.
- Support team members in delivering high-quality educational and behavioral services.
- Maintain budget awareness and participate in program budgeting activities.
- Conduct behavioral assessments develop behavior plans and complete related documentation.
- Collaborate with families schools and community partners to support student success.
Requirements:
Required
- Masters degree in a relevant field.
- Vermont licensure or license eligibility as one of the following:
- Psychologist
- Special Educator
- Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC)
- Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
- 35 years of relevant clinical experience.
- 13 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
- Valid drivers license and access to a personal vehicle.
Preferred
- Experience working with children with emotional behavioral developmental or intellectual disabilities.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care behavioral intervention and educational programming.
- Strong collaboration leadership and communication skills.
Licensing Requirement Notice:
Vermont regulation mandates that individuals who are on the Roster of Nonlicensed Noncertified Psychotherapists through the Office of Professional Regulation must be actively working towards professional licensure. This rule does not apply to First Call for Chittenden County.
Structure:
- Full-time
- Starting Salary Range $70321.82 -We offer a competitive salary commensurate to experience
