Job Description

The simulation manager is responsible for the overall direction and assisting the Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice (DNAP) Program Director in the coordination of the simulation curriculum.

This position is not eligible for new visa sponsorship at this time. Candidates who already hold valid U.S. work authorization may be considered

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring that nurse anesthesia residents are evaluated in the simulation lab consistent with the principles of simulation education.
• Provides strategic direction for simulation curriculum and evaluation simulation pedagogy and purchasing of equipment
• Design and implement simulation scenarios tailored to anesthesia topics (e.g. airway crises hemodynamic instability regional anesthesia complications).
• Ensure simulation aligns with curriculum objectives and COA standards.
• Collaborate with faculty to integrate simulations into didactic and clinical coursework.
• Maintain simulation equipment (manikins task trainers audiovisual systems).
• Oversee simulation space setup safety scheduling and inventory.
• Ensure all equipment is functional calibrated and updated regularly.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program of nurse anesthesia.
• At least 1 year of practice as aCertified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in administrative clinical and/or didactic activities.
• Maintain certification through the National Board of Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists.
• Demonstrate knowledge of principles and theory of anesthesia equipment techniques procedures.
• Demonstrate professional development by maintaining professional certification and membership in the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology.

Salary will be $82900 per yearcommensurate with education and experience.
