Position Summary

The Clinical Educator is responsible for developing planning implementing and organizing a variety of education activities including individual department and hospital wide programs.

• Coordinate onboarding orientation and ongoing education for staff.
• Develop deliver and evaluate training programs to support employee development and organizational goals.
• Partner with leadership to identify learning needs and implement education quality and patient safety initiatives.
• Monitor analyze and share performance data to support continuous improvement efforts.
• Lead education-related projects committees and team development activities.
• Provide education coaching and subject matter expertise to staff and leaders.
• Maintain current clinical knowledge and support changes in nursing practice and regulatory requirements.
• Utilize learning management and data systems to support education programs and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies confidentiality standards and applicable federal state accreditation and licensing requirements.

Qualifications and requirements
Applicants should have a minimum education of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. Preferred Masters Degree.

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse Basic Life Support-Health Care Provider Basic Life Support-Health Care Provider Instructor within 3 years of accepting or transferring into the position.
• BLS
• Minimum Work Experience 3-5 years of recent clinical experience with ongoing ability to demonstrate mastery of relevant clinical skills.
• Sufficient previous experience in adult education
