Job Summary
The Clinical Education Assessment Analyst is a key member of the Clinical Education team within Academic Affairs and provides specialized professional expertise in the evaluation of learner clinical performance student progression practice readiness and educational outcomes within the predoctoral dental program. Reporting to the Director of Clinical Education the position supports the Schools clinical education mission through assessment analysis program evaluation and continuous improvement of clinical education. The position analyzes and interprets clinical education information from multiple sources to evaluate individual and cohort performance competency development completion of required clinical experiences progression toward established educational expectations and readiness for independent practice. The Clinical Education Assessment Analyst identifies trends patterns performance gaps and areas requiring further evaluation and translates findings into meaningful information that supports faculty and Clinical Education leadership in educational planning and decision-making. The position also evaluates the effectiveness and consistency of clinical assessment practices and works with preceptors course directors faculty care coordinators Institutional Effectiveness and other academic partners to strengthen assessment methodology progression measures faculty calibration and program outcomes. The role contributes to the development and refinement of assessment criteria and processes and supports the alignment of clinical assessment practices with curricular objectives competency expectations accreditation requirements and program goals. The Clinical Education Assessment Analyst develops analytical reports and other assessment resources to communicate educational outcomes and support program evaluation and continuous quality improvement. The position also evaluates the quality completeness and reliability of assessment information and works with appropriate institutional partners to resolve data-quality issues affecting educational analysis. The Clinical Education Assessment Analyst collaborates with Institutional Effectiveness and other institutional partners to ensure that clinical assessment information is accurate meaningful and effectively used to support educational decision-making. Through analysis and interpretation of assessment data the position provides Clinical Education leadership and faculty with information that supports learner progression program evaluation educational planning and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications Competencies And Experience
-Analysis and Decision-Making: Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data identify trends and patterns evaluate information and use findings to support educational assessment program evaluation and decision-making. -Professional Knowledge: Knowledge of educational assessment principles and practices with the ability to understand and apply concepts related to learner performance competency evaluation progression and educational outcomes. -Data Management and Reporting: Ability to organize evaluate and present complex information accurately and effectively including experience with data analysis reporting and presentation of findings to varied audiences. -Project Management and Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects identify issues develop solutions exercise sound judgment and contribute to process and program improvements. -Collaboration and Communication: Strong interpersonal teamwork and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with faculty academic leadership staff and institutional partners and communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
Preferred Qualifications Competencies And Experience
-Experience working in dental health professions or higher education particularly in an academic or clinical education environment. -Experience with educational assessment learner evaluation competency-based education student progression or program evaluation. -Experience analyzing and interpreting educational or clinical performance data and developing reports or other materials to communicate findings and outcomes. -Familiarity with accreditation outcomes assessment or continuous quality improvement within an educational setting. -Experience collaborating with faculty academic leadership and cross-functional institutional partners to support educational programs and initiatives.
