Overview

A new Article 32 outpatient substance use program is seeking an experienced Clinical Director (LCSW) to build and lead the clinical program from the ground up.

This is an opportunity for a strong clinical leader who is excited to build create and grow developing the clinical infrastructure building the team and establishing the systems needed for long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and develop the clinical program workflows policies and procedures.

• Recruit hire supervise and develop the clinical team.

• Review charts and oversee clinical documentation treatment planning and quality of care.

• Ensure compliance with Article 32 requirements ASAM criteria HIPAA 42 CFR Part 2 and payer requirements.

• Establish quality assurance utilization review and audit processes.

• Oversee day-to-day clinical operations and serve as the escalation point for complex cases.

• Partner with leadership on staffing program growth and long-term development.

• Build scalable clinical processes and continuously improve systems as the program grows.

Qualifications

• Active New York State LCSW required.

• 35 years of clinical leadership experience ideally within substance use treatment.

• Strong experience with chart review documentation compliance and clinical supervision.

• Experience hiring and managing clinicians.

• Knowledge of Article 32 regulations and ASAM criteria strongly preferred.

• Experience building or growing a clinical program highly preferred.

• Hands-on organized proactive and comfortable building structure from the ground up.

• Strong leadership skills with an entrepreneurial builder mentality.
