Job Summary

Formulates and defines business scope and objectives as well as Epic Clinical requirements through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of business and industry requirements. Performs functional analysis requirements definition and application module configuration and testing. Responsible for conducting prototypes developing functional specifications data mapping function mapping setting of configuration tables and setting of transaction/control tables. Has a thorough understanding of the business processes and flows to enable the analysis of business requirements and the development of solutions for the business for the identification of and resolution of gaps in the business processes. Involved in security/authorization setup user documentation data interface design data migration and reconciliation. Involved in the installation and tuning of modification as well as archiving data.

Functions as a primary liaison between Epic Clinical teams and internal and external customer teams requiring Epic Clinical services. Manages and cultivates the Epic Clinical teams relationships with internal customers and project teams. Marshalls appropriate resources to deliver Epic Clinical services in support of project deliverables.

Support monitoring troubleshooting configuring enhancing and providing advanced customer support. Deployment/Implementation planning and executing the implementation of applications or system integration and testing. Design researching recommending and designing new technologies new configurations and enhancements to existing systems; providing consulting advice to customers on the capabilities of the environment

Position Details:

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in related field specialized training or equivalent work experience and 1-2 years of relevant technical or business work experience
Licensure: Clinical license preferred
Experience: 1-2 years of clinical or relevant technical or business work experience preferred.
Certification/Registration: Epic Certification (within 6 months of hire)
Other Skills and Knowledge:
  • Experience in process design reengineering and requirements documentation methodologies
  • General understanding of Software Development Life Cycle
  • General understanding of Microsoft Office Products including Visio.
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written
  • Experience in business writing
  • General understanding of appropriate application(s)
  • Ability to work in a complex technical environment
