Responsibilities
The faculty member will have an appointment as an Assistant or Associate Professor at Tulane University School of Medicine. The position involves clinical practice at University Medical Center (Downtown New Orleans) and East Jefferson Hospital (in the nearby suburb of Metairie). The candidate is expected to have expertise in Endourology (including shockwave lithotripsy ureteroscopy PCNL and prostate enucleation). The ideal candidate is expected to be a clinician-scholar who participates in clinical and translational research. Additionally there is an opportunity for basic science research collaboration with laboratories housed within Tulanes Urology Department.
