Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions.

Each day you will perform a variety of imaging examinations including X-rays ultrasound diagnostic fluoroscopy CT/CAT scans and MRIs while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction.

To excel you must deeply understand diagnostic imagings critical importance encompassing expertise in workflow patient positioning and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses.
  • Assesses patients and their abilities to participate in ordered procedures. Provides a clear explanation of the procedure including; duration process and what to expect following completion.
  • Provides patient education as appropriate.
  • Obtains patient consent for care and ensures patient confidentiality.
  • Selects proper equipment setting correct technical factors procedure protocols and gathers proper supplies prior to performance of the procedure. Recognizes all radiation safety standards including Image Gently and Image Wisely. Understands and follows all rules around radiation protection including wearing of lead protection when there is a possibility of exposure.
  • Obtains clear and complete history from the patient and/or patient record and records that data into patient record to assist in image interpretation and future patient encounters.
  • Performs quality assessment of images obtained and is able to evaluate equipment issues and escalates concerns as indicated.
Job Requirements
Required
  • Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program upon hire
  • Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT upon hire and
  • Basic Life Support - CPR upon hire and
  • Medical Radiographer: NE upon hire
