Clinic Director Physical Therapist

• Manage the overall leadership and operation of the outpatient clinic
• Supervise and develop both clinical and office staff
• Ensure all APTA standards policies and procedures are followed
• Provide outstanding one-on-one patient care
• Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on evaluation results
• Review the physicians referral (prescription) and the patients condition and medical records to determine the physical therapy treatment required
• Provide direct patient care according to established protocols and patient care guidelines
• Complete a written plan of care develop goals based on evaluation findings and develop a comprehensive program to attain those goals
• Implement the physical therapy treatment program and provide essential physical therapy treatments
• Be responsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians
• Communicate effectively with patients caregivers and professional colleagues including physicians and insurance companies
• Ensure timely documentation including daily notes weekly workers compensation reports progress reports initial evaluations discharge summaries and incident reports

Qualifications :

• Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
• Current South Carolina PT license
• CPR certification
• Early career PTs are welcome and encouraged to apply. Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Exercise sports rehab and manual-based skills
• Outgoing and energetic personality
• Responsible individual with a solid work ethic
• Excellent communication and people skills
