Position Summary
Under the direction of the Director of La Casa Amiga Community Programs the Client Services Coordinator provides assistance to La Casa Amiga clients coordinating all the necessary activities to ensure that La Casa Amiga clients receive the appropriate services. This position schedules appointments tracks and records direct deposits attends to general office procedures responds to phone calls and makes the appropriate referrals. This position requires excellent multi-tasking skills and the ability to respond to all clients with kindness and respect.

Qualifications Knowledge Skills & Abilities
- Fully bilingual (English/Spanish).
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelors degree in business or human services-related field a plus.
- Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
- Prior experience with basic bookkeeping skills.
- Effective written communication skills; good record keeping skills.
- Interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with people of varying economic and cultural backgrounds.
- Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software especially Microsoft Office suite (Outlook Word Excel Power Point Teams) and social media web platforms.
- Conscientious and hard-working attitude; ability to work autonomously at times as well as in a team environment.
- Sense of compassion and patience to serve our community.
- Successful completion of initial and on-going employment screens including but not limited to criminal background sex offender drug screen OIG valid Michigan drivers license abuse and neglect and vehicle record check as required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receives incoming calls and walk-in traffic; assists in registering clients to determine the nature of their visit/needs and directs them to the appropriate staff person.
- Reviews the offices voicemail for messages and assists with mail distribution
- Schedules client appointments for all services provided by La Casa Amiga employees.
- Provides clients with a receipt for payment and/or donations.
- Tracks and records monthly deposits in accordance with basic accounting principles.
- Make weekly bank deposits and create reports for the director.
- Creates monthly credit card and quarterly petty cash or other disbursement authorization reports.
- Create and maintain reception desk processes describing all the activities for everyone else to follow when the Client Services Coordinator is not present.
- Keeps track to order office supplies appropriately.
- Call vendors for office equipment repairs with prior authorization.
- Organizes the reception area including cabinets and supplies within those cabinets.
- Maintain lobby copy and coffee areas to keep an orderly appearance make sure information posted on bulletin boards is being reviewed and approved prior to posting.
- Type memos correspondence reports and other documents as needed; performs variety of clerical duties.
- Adhere to the Mission Values and Vision of CCSEM; and uphold the values and teachings of the Catholic Church.
- Assist with additional reasonable responsibilities as assigned by the Director of La Casa Amiga Community Programs.
Work Environment Physical Demands & Travel
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This is a sedentary role. This position would require the ability to lift 25 pounds move file boxes open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. No travel is required.

This is a part-time 25 hours per/week non-exempt position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday as assigned.
