JOB DESCRIPTION Facility Cleaner

Job Summary:
The Facility Cleaner is responsible for maintaining clean sanitary and organized common areas throughout the facility. This position plays an important role in providing employees and visitors with a safe clean and welcoming work environment. The role requires routine cleaning tasks attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Duties and Responsibilities: Clean and sanitize restrooms including sinks toilets mirrors and fixtures
Restock restroom supplies such as soap paper towels and toilet paper
Clean and sanitize breakrooms tables countertops appliances and sinks
Sweep mop and vacuum designated office and common areas
Empty trash and recycling containers throughout the facility
Dust and wipe down surfaces furniture doors windows and high-touch areas
Maintain cleanliness of entryways hallways conference rooms and employee common areas
Clean facility signage and bulletin boards as needed
Report maintenance or safety concerns to management
Follow all company safety procedures and use cleaning products properly

Skills and Abilities: Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Dependable and self-motivated
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment

Qualifications: Previous janitorial custodial housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform routine physical activities including bending standing walking and reaching throughout the shift
Ability to work in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Must be able to safely use cleaning supplies tools and equipment
