This position offers the opportunity to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment committed to operational ResponsibilitiesSafely operate Class B commercial vehicles to transport and deliver products to customer job sites businesses and residential secure transport and unload materials in accordance with company policies and DOT delivery orders inspect products for accuracy and obtain customer signatures or proof of vehicles safely into loading and unloading areas while ensuring proper positioning of equipment and customers with unloading materials while taking precautions to protect products equipment and customer as a professional company representative by providing exceptional customer service and addressing customer concerns in a courteous and timely accurate delivery records mileage logs inspections and required transportation pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns handheld devices and electronic systems to maintain compliance with Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR) and Hours of Service (HOS) product return pickups credit returns and related documentation as forklifts and other material handling equipment to load and unload products all safety procedures regulations and company policies while promoting a culture of workplace in safety meetings and training warehouse yard and delivery operations as Class B Commercial Drivers License (CDL).Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving be at least 21 years of of one (1) year of delivery driving to obtain and maintain a valid DOT Medical Card within five (5) days of to meet company motor vehicle record (MVR) standards including fewer than five moving violations within the past five to read write and communicate effectively in math and measurement (2) or more years of CDL driving delivering building materials lumber roofing products or other construction-related certification or experience operating material handling of DOT regulations vehicle inspections and cargo securement RequirementsFrequently lift carry and maneuver materials weighing up to 100 lift or move up to 200 pounds with assistance and appropriate to bend kneel crawl climb push pull and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the to safely enter and exit commercial vehicles multiple times to operate vehicle controls and maintain full visibility while driving and maneuvering to load secure and unload products safely at customer EnvironmentThis position works in a combination of driving warehouse yard and customer-site environments.
