Position Summary

Zachry Construction is seeking a Class A CDL Dump Truck Driver to transport materials to and from construction Dump Truck Driveris responsible forsafelyoperatingcompany trucks performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections and ensuring loads are properly secured and delivered efficiently. This position requires attention to detail strong safety awareness and the ability to work effectively in varying conditions.

WhatYoullDo

• Transport rock sand and other construction materials to and from specified locations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Supervise the loading of materials onto the truck and ensure proper tarping of loads.
• Safelyoperatethe truck in all weather and road conditions.
• Dump materials in designated areas and verify proper placement.
• Ensure materials being transportedcomply withweight and type restrictions.
• Report any accidents injuries or mechanical issues promptly to management.
• Comply withall DOT laws company safety policies and procedures.
• Performadditionallabor-relatedduties asassigned by supervision.

WhatWereLooking For

• Minimum 2 years of experienceoperatinga dump truck.
• Valid Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL).
• Clean driving record and working knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Familiarity with construction site operations and truck maintenance.
• Ability to takedirectionand follow assigned routes effectively.
• Physical ability to climb in and out of the cab andoperateequipment safely.
• Must be able tolift upto 50 pounds and perform stooping bending kneeling turning twisting pushing pulling squatting and climbing.
• Strong communicationskills and attention to detail.
• Dependable self-motivated and task-oriented with a focus on safety.
