Job Summary
Drive with a team that prioritizes your time your equipment and your future. We are hiring experienced Class A CDL drivers for regional and OTR positions based out of the Lewiston ME corridor. This is a high-mileage low-touch opportunity designed for professional drivers who value modern equipment predictable home time and a safety-first culture.
- Primary Corridors: Lewiston ME to Bangor Portland Boston and the I-95 and I-295 corridors. Regular freight lanes include New England the Mid-Atlantic and select Midwest routes.
- Late-Model Fleet: You will operate a 2023 or newer tractor all under 18 months old. Units are equipped with APUs inverter systems and automatic transmissions.
- Weekly Pay Scale: Target weekly earnings in the $1600$1750 range. Pay is based on a combination of rate per mile and stop pay. Average weekly miles: .
- Home Time: 23 days home per week. 34-hour resets are typically at home. Dispatch works with your schedule.
- Medical Dental Vision: Coverage starts as early as day 30. Company contributes 70% of the premium for single plans.
- Paid Time Off: Accrue 1 week in your first year 2 weeks by year three. Paid holidays after 90 days.
- Retirement: 401(k) with a 4% company match fully vested after 3 years.
- Additional Perks: $1500 annual safety bonus referral bonuses ($2500 per driver) and no-cost rider/pet program (see below).
After 90 days of clean driving you may bring a rider or a pet (dog or cat) on the road. Rider must be 18. Pet must be well-behaved and up to date on vaccinations. No additional fee just a simple approval form.
We maintain a strict safety gate. To be considered you must meet the following:
- No more than 1 preventable accident in the last 2 years (regardless of fault).
- No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years.
- Zero DUIs or drug-related convictions in the last 5 years.
- No more than 3 jobs in the last 3 years (unless due to seasonal or contract work).
- A clean PSP and DAC report is required.
- Verifiable minimum of 3 months of Class A CDL tractor-trailer experience in the last 12 months.
- Current Class A CDL (no restrictions that prevent interstate driving).
- Must be at least 22 years old.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen (including hair follicle).
- No recent at-fault accidents or serious traffic violations.
- 2023 Freightliner Cascadia and International LT models.
- All trucks equipped with: APU inverters refrigerators and satellite radio.
- ELD: Omnitracs no forced dispatch you manage your clock.
- Pre-pass and bypass for weigh stations.
- Dedicated dispatch team based in New England you speak to the same person each week.
