Claris Developer Advocate

Our global developer community is one of the most established and passionate in the industry and its central to our looking for a Developer Advocate to be a trusted technical voice for developers building on the Claris platform. Youll create and deliver technical content demos and tutorials that help developers grow from their first project to advanced ambitious builds. Youll maintain a consistent presence across live events video platforms and external conferences and youll act as a channel between the developer community and our product and engineering teams surfacing feedback coordinating launch-ready content and ensuring developers are informed and inspired as new capabilities ship.n

Working closely with Product Marketing the Community u0026 Learning team and the broader Marcom and GTM teams youll help create a cohesive high-impact experience that deepens engagement and strengthens the Claris developer ecosystem. Produce and maintain a consistent cadence of technically accurate presentations demos and tutorials showcasing current Claris platform progressive learning paths from entry-level to advanced that build developer skills and confidence to create ambitious community feedback into actionable insights for product and engineering teams while partnering with Product Marketing on launch trusted developer relationships through an active intentional presence across live events video channels and structured developer researchvia surveys interviews and sentiment analysispartnering cross-functionally to deliver well-timed impactful content.n

7 years of hands-on experience with the Claris FileMaker platformnExceptional communicator and storyteller able to make complex technical concepts simple and engaging for audiences ranging from beginner to advanced developers comfortable presenting live on camera and under pressurenExperience creating and delivering technical content (presentations demos tutorials) for a developer audiencenExperience working cross-functionally with product marketing community or engineering teamsnAbility to travel 5-10%

Ability to translate community/developer feedback into clear written input for product and engineering teamsnAbility to leverage approved AI tools to improve efficiency and insights while maintaining Apples standards for data privacy and securitynExperience creating content shared on social media or community platforms (e.g. YouTube forums developer communities)nComfortable working independently and maintaining a recurring content/event cadence without close oversightnBackground in developer relations technical evangelism or community-facing rolesnExperience conducting or coordinating developer research (surveys interviews community analysis)nFamiliarity with content planning around product release cycles
