Position Details:

Compensation: $125K - $165K annually depending on experience

Overview/Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Structural Engineer to support the execution of multidisciplinary EPCM projects. This role combines technical engineering expertise with project coordination responsibilities ensuring designs are delivered on time within scope and in compliance with applicable codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support structural and civil design efforts for EPCM projects including industrial commercial and infrastructure facilities

• Develop and review engineering calculations drawings and specifications

• Coordinate with internal disciplines (mechanical electrical process) and external stakeholders

• Ensure compliance with local state and federal regulations including New Jersey codes and standards

• Serve as Engineer of Record (EOR) where applicable

• Manage project deliverables schedules and budgets in collaboration with project managers

• Conduct site visits field inspections and construction support as needed

• Review contractor submittals RFIs and shop drawings

• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance

• Support business development efforts including proposal preparation when required

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Masters preferred)

• Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred

• At least 58 years of relevant experience in structural/civil engineering preferably within an EPCM or consulting environment

• Strong knowledge of structural design codes (IBC ASCE ACI AISC etc.)

• Experience with design software (e.g. STAAD SAP2000 ETABS AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar)

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

• Strong communication and coordination skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• PE licensure in multiple states or ability to obtain additional licenses quickly

• Experience in industrial or heavy infrastructure projects

• Familiarity with permitting processes in multiple jurisdictions

• Experience acting as Engineer of Record (EOR)

• Project management experience or exposure to EPCM project delivery models

Work Environment & Travel:

• Combination of office and field work

• Occasional travel to project sites as required
