Civil Senior Project Engineer (On-site)

Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Senior Civil Project Engineer to lead the design and delivery of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects. This role offers the opportunity to manage complex projects from concept through construction while mentoring junior engineers and helping communities improve their critical infrastructure.
- Lead hydraulic design projects involving municipal water distribution wastewater collection systems and treatment facilities
- Design pump stations including wet wells pumping systems electrical controls telemetry and automation systems
- Manage projects from initial concept through design permitting construction and commissioning
- Coordinate with clients regulatory agencies and project stakeholders
- Represent clients during meetings with municipal officials city councils and regulatory boards
- Mentor junior engineers and support their technical development
- Apply hydraulic modeling software AutoCAD and emerging technologies to solve complex engineering challenges
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and the communities served
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Minimum of 15 years of related civil engineering experience
- At least five years of hydraulic design experience involving water and wastewater systems
- Demonstrated experience designing pump stations wet wells pumping systems and associated electrical and control systems
- Proficiency with AutoCAD hydraulic modeling software and control system design
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients municipal officials and regulatory agencies
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation for site visits and client meetings
- Ability to commute to or relocate to Maynard Massachusetts before starting

The estimated salary range for this position is $136585$161674. Actual compensation will depend on related experience location market conditions education training certifications credentials skills and demonstrated proficiency.
