Responsibilities:

A Canton Ohio area Engineering Firm that is seeking to hire an experienced Civil Project Engineer who has the engineering know how to help design residential and commercial water resources projects
Responsibilities:
- Design & Drafting: Create comprehensive technical drawings and plans for permitting and construction focusing on layout grading drainage and erosion/sediment control.
- Engineering Solutions: Develop innovative technical solutions for complex water resource challenges.
- Regulatory Compliance: Prepare and complete necessary environmental permits to ensure project adherence to local and federal standards.
- Project Estimating: Prepare accurate cost estimates for all assigned water resource projects.
- Construction Support: Provide technical oversight during construction including plan reviews and site visits to ensure design intent is met.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with fellow engineers and construction inspection personnel to deliver optimal results for clients.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) from an ABET-accredited program.
- Experience: 04 years of experience in water/wastewater or related civil engineering.
- Certification: EI/EIT certification is highly preferred (though not required).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Hands-on experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D is a significant plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively within a team.
- Mobility: Ability to perform occasional day travel to project sites.
